Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. One-time project packages

1.1 Discover phase (before development starts)

If your project does not proceed past the Discover phase — for any reason — you are entitled to a full refund. No processing fee is retained.

1.2 After the Build phase has started

Once we have begun writing code (Build phase starts), the project is underway and the fixed price is committed. If the project is cancelled after this point:

  • We refund the portion of the price corresponding to work not yet delivered, calculated pro rata against the agreed delivery schedule.
  • The portion corresponding to delivered or in-progress work is due.

1.3 Non-conformity with specification

If deliverables do not match the agreed, documented specification, Webcraft Labs will remediate the non-conformity at no additional charge before any refund is considered. Refund claims based on genuine non-conformity are assessed case by case.

2. Monthly retainers (Cloud & DevOps, Maintenance & Support)

  • Cancellation: send written notice by email to support@webcraft-labs.com with 30 days' advance notice.
  • Billing: the retainer continues until the end of the 30-day notice period. You are billed for the current month only.
  • Cancellation fees: none.
  • Handover: we provide a full documentation package to ensure continuity.

3. How to request a refund

  1. Email support@webcraft-labs.com with the subject: "Refund request — [Project name / Order number]".
  2. Describe the reason for your request and reference the agreed specification if applicable.
  3. We will acknowledge within 2 business days and provide a decision within 10 business days.
  4. Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method (Stripe) within 5–10 business days.

4. Consumer withdrawal right

For distance sales to consumers (natural persons acting outside a professional capacity), the 14-day withdrawal right under French consumer law (Art. L. 221-18 Code de la consommation) applies unless the service has already started. If you expressly requested that performance begin before the withdrawal period expired and waived your withdrawal right, this right no longer applies. Any withdrawal must be notified in writing to support@webcraft-labs.com.
